Hi everyone! I am creating this post to talk about... you guessed it - New Years!  I can't believe that 2022 is already coming to an end!




To start off this post, I wanted to remind you of something - when 2023 starts.  This year, it starts on a Sunday!  I saw a reel on Instagram about New Years starting on a Sunday and the person said something like "how am I supposed to get a fresh start or do anything on a Sunday?".  But for me, I'm glad it starts on a Sunday!  Sunday is the first day of the week, and it'll be the first day of the year, so it's kind of perfect haha.  What do you think? Are you happy that it starts on a Sunday or not?  Or do you just not care like most people?


I don't know about you, but I still feel like it's 2020.  I actually typed 2020 earlier instead of 2023 (and fixed my mistake, of course)!  It's just feels so weird that 2020 was 3 years ago!  I think that once covid started, my mind has just been stuck in 2020.  Also, I know this has nothing to do with New Years, but did you notice that when covid first started, people mostly called it corona virus, or corona, but now most people call it covid?  Or is that just me and the people I talk to?



Let's talk graphic design/device wallpapers.  This year, I wanted to create some New Years ipad wallpaper, like fireworks or words (on an app like procreate), but I just didn't have enough time!  December really flew by.  Maybe next year I can do that!


I don't really have any New Years traditions, but I saw an Instagram post talking about some traditions and there is one I want to try this year.  At midnight, you eat 12 grapes for good luck for each month of the year.  For me, this might not turn into a tradition we do every year (since I'll probably forget about it next year!) but I definitely want to try it this year.



New Years resolutions:
Now, I rarely ever make new years resolutions and do them, but this year I have some ideas.  In 2023 I hope to post more often to my blog, and post more Instagram reels instead of photos.  I also have some new things I want to do with Sticky Note (which you'll have to wait for, it'll be a surprise!)  Which I am excited about.  What are your New Years Resolutions?
