My Trip to the Cottage

The Cottage:   🏡

Over the last few days, we took a trip to the cottage.  It was very fun.  Above and very far down below you can see pictures from our trip.  We did plenty of things.  We went to the beach, we played outside, we ate marshmallows and s'mores by the campfire, we went to Collingwood Arboretum, and much more.

About Collingwood Arboretum:
We saw lots of butterflies all over, but in the one section the most.  I almost caught one!  It was in my hands but then it found a gap between my two hands and escaped.  Of course we would have let it go anyway.  We also saw a water spider.  We did not try and catch the water spider though because that is just gross in our opinion.

There was a real-life maze there which is actually called a labyrinth, but there weren't multiple options of turns in the maze, there was just one option.  It took a long time to get to the middle though.

Also, there was an amazing bridge walkway thing with a cool bench in the bridge.

We saw ducks, birds, and more.  A family member did a bird distress call and all the birds came over too see what was going on!  We saw a woodpecker, some birds we don't know the names of, and this small little cute one.

There was a small building with a fake window and dog painted on it.  It reminded us of the song How Much Is That Doggy in The Window.

The was much more to Collingwood Arboretum, and if you want to see it check it out!  It is a really fun place!

About the Beach:
The beach had very calm waves, and luckily no one was there so we could go.  There is also a park beside it, but sadly it's closed because of covid-19.  The beach used to have sand, but a bunch of water came up and took it away. :(  They kept on having to cut down the tall grass to make more room, but the water kept rising up.  It was still very fun though!

About the S'mores:
They were so yummy!  I want more!  The marshmallows roasted/toasted (whatever you call it) quickly, so that was good.

One More Thing:
We left some peanuts out for animals and look what happened!:
