How to Find the Hex Code of Any Colour: ⬡
Do you ever see a colour on the internet, you like it, but it doesn't tell you the hex code so you can't use it? Well here's the solution! Whether it's a solid colour or a leaf in the background, soon you'll be able to find out the hex code of any colour!
First, either take the Snipping Tool and snip the image you want or right click and 'Copy image' OR (I know a lot of 'or's) you can right click and 'Save image as...'.
Then go to pixlr.com
pixlr is a photo editing site that is very easy to use for beginners.
Once you get to their main page, click 'Pixlr E Advanced Photo Editor'.
If you clicked 'Save image as...' Then Click 'OPEN IMAGE' and select the imaged you saved. If you clicked 'Copy image' or used the snipping tool, then paste the image by on your keyboard press 'Ctrl' and 'C' at the same time. For more Power User Tools click here.
Now in the tool box in the left side click on the tool that looks like a medicine dropper and when you hover your mouse over it it says 'Picker'.
Click on the colour in the image that you want to find the hex code of.
Click on the top circle at the bottom, like in the photo.
Look at the 'HEX' section and next to the word hex it will show you the hex code.
To make sure it's the correct colour, do these steps:
Click 'ok'
Click on the icon that looks like a paint brush, and when you hover your mouse over it it says 'Draw'.
To draw, drag your mouse around on the image. If you see a different colour of where you dragged it than the colour you want, than it isn't the correct colour. If you see no difference, than it's the correct colour. If it isn't the correct colour, then try doing the steps above again. If it's correct, well now you have the hex code!
