NEW YEARS 2023

Image
New Year:    ðŸŽ‡ Hi everyone! I am creating this post to talk about... you guessed it - New Years!  I can't believe that 2022 is already coming to an end! To start off this post, I wanted to remind you of something - when 2023 starts.  This year, it starts on a Sunday!  I saw a reel on Instagram about New Years starting on a Sunday and the person said something like "how am I supposed to get a fresh start or do anything on a Sunday?" .  But for me, I'm glad it starts on a Sunday!  Sunday is the first day of the week, and it'll be the first day of the year, so it's kind of perfect haha.  What do you think? Are you happy that it starts on a Sunday or not?  Or do you just not care like most people? I don't know about you, but I still feel like it's 2020.  I actually typed  2020  earlier instead of 2023 (and fixed my mistake, of course)!  It's just feels so weird that 2020 was 3 years ago!  I think that once covid s...

Draw the shapes Now that you have drawn your shapes, scroll down and look at the tutorial! Draw lines from each side like in the pictures. Finish off the lines so they are boxes.  It doesn't matter if they are different lengths, we ...

Merry Quizmas by H. Becker As you can probably tell from the title, the Christmas book is full of fun quizzes!  Find out your secret elf name, if y ou'll survive Christmas dinner, if you're a reindeer, elf, or frosty, and more!  You can play these games and quizzes alone or with friends and family!  I do the quizzes in this book every year and I definitely   recommend  getting it! The Christmas Pig J.K. Rowling This book is about a boy that loses his beloved stuffed pig, and goes on an adventure to the land of the lost to save it.  I loved The Christmas Pig when I read it for the first time last year and I can't wait to read it again.  It's an amazing book...

Super Pickle!

Image
Super Pickle!:    ðŸ’šðŸ˜œðŸĶļ As soon as Canva sent me this email, I knew I had to participate.  I think I've only participated in this challenge once or twice, and I even made a blog post about how to create a win-worthy design before.  So you're probably wondering what I'm talking about.  Canva is hosting a contest, and this weeks theme is Design a Super Hero Business Card!  I thought this sounded like a lot of fun when I saw this email: So I went to Canva and started designing.  If you win, they showcase your design to the Canva comunity!  The superhero I made is Super Pickle.  Here is his buisness card: Make sure to check it out on Instagram and give me a like if you like my design! His catch phrase is "Don't be a cucumber, be a pickle"... even though a pickle is technically a cucumber.  His (made up) address is 123 Kosher Lane.  And don't worry - Super Pickle is on the way to save the day! I actually was deciding between two diffe...
