How to Make a Watering Can Out of a Plastic Water Bottle! It Doubles as a Squirt Gun! Best Way to Water Your Plants! Upcycle!

Make a Watering Can Out of a Plastic Water Bottle:   🌱

A couple weeks ago I came up with this amazing way to water plants - and it's a D.I.Y.!  This isn't just dumping water on the plants, this way to water is almost like rain!  It's much easier and lazier than pulling out the hose everyday, and it's very easy to make!  It's cheap and it's upcycling!  Plants will love this method of watering, and my plants have been much healthier now that I use this method instead of just pouring water from a glass into the soil.  Anyways, let's get on with the D.I.Y.!

First up, you'll need a used plastic water bottle, a thumbtack, and a plants to water.

Push the thumbtack straight down into the lid of the water bottle.  Push it in, pull it out, and then push it into the next spot.  Repeat this until the lid has about this many holes (the amount in the picture above).  Take off the water bottle wrapper because it will come off eventually anyway.

Now just fill the bottle up with water and turn the bottle upside down with the lid tightly on and lightly squeeze the bottle.  Squeeze out as much water as your plant needs, and when you stop squeezing the bottle, the water will stop coming out.

I made this video of me watering my plants with this D.I.Y..  I filmed this video just after it rained so I could show you guys how it works (that's why it's all wet outside and the plants aren't taking in the water).

You guys are probably wondering - what about the squirt gun part?  This D.I.Y. doubles as a water gun, and all you have to do it put it on it's side and squeeze.  You'll have to squeeze harder than what you do when you water the plants, because when using it as a water gun it isn't upside down.  Have fun!

The full video on how to make this will be on Pinterest soon.
