This is the first holiday ever since I started Sticky Note, so I know I have to do a post about it.  Oh, and by the way - Happy Thanks Giving!

What is Thanks Giving About?

Thanks Giving  is about being thankful for what you have, and spending time with the people you care about.  If you don't normally see the people you care about the most, try to make an effort to visit them on this special day.


Things I Am Thankful For

I am going to tell you some things I am thankful for, and when you are done reading this blog post please write a list of what you are thankful for in the comments.  You can write the big things you are thankful for, like shelter, family and friends, or, you can write about the little things you are thankful for, like viewers, books, and entertainment.  It doesn't matter.  But I am going to write about both the little things, and the big things.
(Listed in no particular order)

 - Family
 - Friends
 - Food
 - Shelter
 - Viewers
 - Books
 - TV
 - Clothing
 - Nature
 - PIE!!!!!
 - Air conditioning
 - Heat
I could go on, but my list would have way too many things on it.

What is Thankfulness?

Thankfulness is about focusing on the positives, and being grateful for what you have and get.  Without thankfulness, people would get greedy, and be in a bad mood.  When something goes wrong, try focusing on the positives of the situation.  For example, you're outside, or on a bike ride, and it starts raining; at least you have a shelter to go in so you don't have to stay out in the rain.  Also, make sure to say 'thank you' when someone gives you something, or does something for you.


What We Did Today

Today, my family and I went to two pumpkin patches.  It is important that you do things with the ones that you love, and spend time with them.  But that isn't what this section is about, it's about what my family and I did today on Thanksgiving.  
As I was saying, today we went to two pumpkin patches.  They were both decorated with pumpkins really nicely, but I will post pictures from the two pumpkin patches on Instagram tomorrow.  (My account is @stickynoteinsta).  In case you want to go to the pumpkin patches, here are the names of them: Romagnoli Farms Beamsville Ontario and Hildreth Farm Market Beamsville Ontario.
