How to Make Granola
How to Make Granola: ⬤
Remember the post We Made Ice Cream!? Well, now I have something that you can put on top of your delicious ice cream! Granola! Although we add wet ingredients, the granola will still be dry. Look below to learn how to make granola.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of rolled oats
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of flaked coconut
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of chocolate chips
Steps:
- Add 1/4 cup of rolled oats, 2 pinches of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of flaked coconut to bowl #1
- Mix everything that is in bowl #1
- Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to #2
- Mix everything that is in bowl #2
- Drizzle the wet ingredients in bowl #2 over the dry ingredients in bowl #2
- Toss it and mix it
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spread mixture on it.
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Bake for 10 minutes (watching to ensure it doesn't burn)
- Remove from oven and let completely cool before adding 1 teaspoon of chocolate chips
- You can add more coconut flakes too if you like
- Make the granola before making the ice cream
