We Made Ice Cream!

Today we made this delicious ice cream.  We made one batch of vanilla, and one batch of chocolate.  In the middle and on the right is the chocolate.  The chocolate ice cream in the middle isn't done yet, but on the right side it is!  I can't pick a favourite ice cream, I'm on and off.  I like the vanilla the best, but then the chocolate.  We love this ice cream, it is the best ice cream I've ever had!  And guess what?  You don't even need an ice cream maker to make it!  Everyone needs to try this ice cream, so here is the recipe!


Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup 35% whipping cream


Steps:

  1. Add 3/4 cup sugar, 2 1/4 cups milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 cup 35% whipping cream to bowl
  2. Mix everything in the bowl and beat with an electric mixer until mixed
  3. Pour ice cream mixture into a freezer safe bowl then cover with plastic food wrap and a lid
  4. Put it in the freezer for 1 hour and then take out and mix.  Repeat this step until ice cream is done (it will be done when the whole thing is more thick but not rock hard frozen)
  5. Enjoy your delicious ice cream treat!

For the chocolate flavor then add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder before step two.

    I have not made this ice cream yet. But when I do make this ice cream,I think I would like the chocolate ice cream the best.
